ISLAMIC PRINCIPLES OF CHILD COUNSELING AND CONTEMPORARY REQUIREMENTS

Abstract

Nowadays, it is a common observation and knowledge that a lot of work is being done regarding children in the modern world and many works and laws are being made for the welfare of children. Their aim is simply to provide comfort to the child, proper provision of education and training, and access to health and other basic facilities. The Religion of Islam has ordered parents to fulfill the responsibility of educating their children in the best possible way. Islamic teachings have instructed to protect children from a negative environment. The Religion of Islam has described the sexual education of the child in a very modest way. The teaching of chivalry in children, inclination towards good management, and promotion of sports are among the distinguishing features of Islam.
